CYL Baseball Camp - March 3

We will start out our baseball season with our own "Spring Training" event. Players of all ages from Clintonville

and any surrounding communities are invited to attend. Learn the fundamentals of baseball and develop good baseball habits.

Cost is free! We will have computers available to register for league play if needed.

Location: Clintonville Middle School Gym

Times:

9-10:00am: 4 & 5 yr olds, 4K & 5K

9-11:30am: 1st & 2nd grade

12:30-3:00: 3rd thru 7th grade

CYL Baseball Open Gym - March 4, 11, 18 & 25

These open gyms are held after the CYL Camp so that players work on the skills learned at camp. Players can begin throwing to

get their arms in shape. League coaches will be there to supervise and assist players in their development.

Times: 4-6:00pm

League Sign-up Day - April 14

All players wanting to play baseball are asked to attend this session. All kids will be placed on a team. Show the coaches what

skills have been learned and how much progress has been made. We will have computers available to register for league play if

needed.

8:30am: 4 & 5 yr olds, 4K, 5K, 1st & 2nd grade

10:00am: 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th & 7th grade

Opening Day - May 12

What says it's springtime better than baseball. The CYL kicks-off the season with a Saturday afternoon of baseball fun. All teams

play their first games of the season.The Concession Stand will be open to get peanuts, popcorn and Cracker Jacks!

Picture Night - May 17

Smile nice or look real tough for the camera. All teams will have their pictures taken. The coaches will hand-out

order forms a week or two before this evening. The schedule for Picture Night will be found here when the teams

and game schedule have been finalized.

but are not the final permission to use the diamond. Other organizations may reserve the diamonds

League Championship Night - July 9

Location: W. A. Olen Park

Time 6:00pm

Details: The top two teams from the 7&8, 9&10 and 11&12 year old divisions will play each other

for the League Championship.

CYL Year-end Picnic & Awards Night - July 23

Location: Bucholtz Park

Time: 6:00pm

Details: Bring the following things:

• your uniform (jersey & pants for 9/10 & 11/12 yr olds) Keep your hat!
• a dish to pass
• your swimming suit & towel (8:00-9:00pm at Public Pool)
